Welcome Home: Reid Center Benefit Concert
The Jeff Hamilton Jazz Trio and legendary jazz pianist Carol Lou Woodward lend their fabulous talents to a marvelous night of music at the Reid Center in Richmond, Indiana on Saturday, September 27th at 7:00 p.m.. Proceeds from this concert will benefit the preservation of the Reid Center. The Phantom of the Opera (Silent Movie, with organ accompaniment)
Celebrate the spooky season with a classic horror film at the Reid Center, 1004 North A Street, Richmond, IN! Jonathan Hampton will accompany the silent film, The Phantom of the Opera, on our magnificent Hook and Hastings pipe organ. Tickets are $10.00.

Richmond Jazz Orchestra Holiday Concert
The Richmond Jazz Orchestra takes the stage at the Reid Center, 1004 North A Street, Richmond, Indiana, on Sunday, December 7th to welcome in the holiday season at the Reid Center. The Richmond Jazz Orchestra (RJO) is the area's premier not-for-profit big band with 20 musicians and vocalists. The musicians include professional players, high school band directors, music teachers, talented adults, and a few top college and high school players.

Evensong: A Service of Hymns
NOTE NEW LOCATION: Due to the heat, the concert has been moved to Central United Methodist Church, 1425 E Main St, Richmond, IN 47374.
You are invited to an Evensong Service, a tradition in England to assemble in the evening for a service of hymns. This one will be provided by the Community Choristers, a group of 30 children led by Dr. Alisa Clapp-Itnyre, who have learned about a dozen traditional English and American hymns, many of the early-20th-century-era, to sing for you this evening, and interspersed with solos, sing-a-longs, scripture, and prayer. Please join us! All are welcome.

Candlelight Concert: Shadows & Lights
Concert by candlelight featuring Shiyu Wang at the piano, and friends on organ & strings, in collaboration with Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Enjoy music by candlelight in an intimate setting of organ pipes and Tiffany windows. Music will be performed on the historic 1905 Starr concert grand piano, including pieces with our pipe organ, violin, viola, and cello. Tickets $30. Start time is 7:30p.m.; doors open 7:00p.m.

Originating from the ecumenical Christian community in Taizé, France, Taizé worship focuses on contemplative prayer supported by scripture readings and simple, repetitive chants.

The Reid Center is once again celebrating lovers of every suite by reprising its fabled Valentine’s Madrigal Feast.
The Reid Center’s evening of Renaissance revelry, repast and romance will begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the merry hall located on the corner of North 11th and A Streets in Richmond, Indiana.
A major fundraising event, the cost of the popular Valentine’s Madrigal Feast is $75 per person.
