Take an active part in promoting a wonderful asset in your community!

We’re looking for great people to fill the following volunteer roles.

  • Assistant House Manager:  Assist House Manager who is responsible for patrons’ seating and safety in all performance venues and assigning and supervising ushers.

  • Assistant Box Office Manager: Assists the Box Office manager in the online setup of ticket sales, tracks ticket sales, and works the box office at ticketed events

  • Work Day: Helps on clean-up days. Generally a couple of times each season.

  • Assistant Volunteer Coordinator: Assists the Volunteer Coordinator in securing volunteers for events and tours.

  • Assistant Tour Coordinator:  Assist the Tour Coordinator in organizing tours of the Reid Center

Planning Committees:

  • Blues Festival/November 2023: a collaborative event with Starr Gennett. Dinner and dancing followed by a full concert.

  • Festival of Trees/December 2023: Work with the designer of the tree and coordinate volunteers to staff the Depot public events showing the trees.

  • Madrigal Fund Raising Dinner/February 2024: Help plan the event with Madrigal Singers/IUEast and Richmond Community Chorale, a meal, set up, marketing, ticketing, decorating, set up, etc.

  • Eclipse Events/Wedding/Concert/Tours, April 2024: Help to plan Eclipse weekend.

Serve on the Marketing Committee:

  • Provides general oversight and support for marketing, public relations, media relations, communications, advertising, graphic design, copywriting, and editing needed to promote the programs and initiatives of the organization.
